Systems Engineer · Pittsburgh, PA

Hi, I'm
Chris.

I keep systems running — Windows, Linux, BSD, and everything in between. I've been doing this professionally since 2015, and tinkering since long before that.

/ about

The longer version

I'm a systems engineer with a background that spans enterprise Windows environments, Linux servers, and VMware. — both at work and at home. I've worked in healthcare IT and higher education, and I bring a practical, documentation-minded approach to everything I manage.

When I'm not wrestling with Group Policy or tuning pf rules, I'm probably in my homelab breaking and rebuilding things on purpose. I think the best sysadmins are the ones who got curious and stayed that way.

Outside of tech, I'm a devoted cat person, an elevator enthusiast, and a connoisseur of cooking videos I have no intention of recreating.

Say hello

I'm not actively looking for new roles, but I'm always happy to talk shop with other sysadmins and tech folk.
